Dental House is proud to have its own dental laboratory.

Thanks to the vision of Dr. Carlos Alberto Barocio Sada, (Masters in Dental Material Sciences), Dental House acquired an ultimate generation 3D laboratory.  The most advanced world class equipment , brought directly from Germany – the one and only in Mexico. These units capture and scan CRECEC 3D, INEOS and MAESTRO 3D SCANNER images and are only some of the paths of digitalization by sophisticated design software that elaborate all of the porcelain and zirconium restorations.  Later to be sent to one of the three manufacturing or shaping robots that we have in our laboratory: CEREC 1, MX-XL and the majestic milling machine INTELDENTA (also from Germany). This high tech equipment is capable of making up to 60 zirconium crowns as well as bars or hybrid titanium or zirconium structures for still prosthesis all in one day. This technology allows us to prepare a crown, veneer or any other restoration made of porcelain and to properly cement it during the same appointment in approximately one hour.

Our dental laboratory goes hand in hand with the prestige’s company Sirona; to be certified this year as the first Sirona Connect center and first milling center in this region. Other dental offices can not offer this service and do not possess the specialized equipment to manufacture their own works.  This means we can avoid needing to send to the United States or other laboratories, resulting in saving you a 200% increase in your treatment.

CAD/CAM DENTAL TECHNOLOGYCAD/CAM dental technology allows users to make up dental prosthesis where the prosthetic preparations are scanned, processed and fabricated by means of assisted by computer mechanization. In the present day, CAD/CAM technology represents the artistic state in dentistry and allows dental clinics to offer their patients the most aesthetic dental prosthesis, a highly precise, standardized and customized procedure.

CAD/CAM? CAD technology (computer and scanner assisted design), CAM (dental computer assisted fabrication), is the most innovative technique available for still prosthesis and involves a very important progress with relation to the conventional techniques used to make up dental prosthesis.

THE TECHNOLOGYCAD/CAM dental technology consists of three steps:

  • Teeth or dental implant scanning on the model.

  • Computer design of the aesthetic prosthesis through a3D software (that allows the possibility to calculate the insertion axes, having references of the antagonist model, trace a line on the cervical margin and digital zoom up to 500%).

  • Robotized milling within the prosthesis design information in a few minutes.

CAD/CAM manufacturing opens the door to a new world of high technology materials that cannot be processed with conventional strain technology. The problems with straining such as porosities, inclusion of external strange material or the oxide shallow layer that appears on the unity during the strain process are now things from the past. CAD/CAM manufacturing with tested materials gives place to highly precise, hygienic, and aesthetic structures.
